Successor Trustee
Once the original trustee has passed, does the sucessor trustee become the trustee and have all powers outlined in the original teut agreement?

Normally yes, but it is possible to have language in the trust document giving different powers to different trustees. Just read the document carefully or have an attorney look at it.
