Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

When taping a group of people in a public place in a public setting with many different people around, example in a court house paid for by tax dollars, are you allowed to tape a group of people talking admitting their crimes and use it against them? Another words if you were to tape them all talking and admitting their crimes, can you use that tape against them in a court of law and not be sued for taping them? Is taping allowed in the state of Florida if your in a public place and in a public setting? Thanks, CC
