tenant in commom of estate
i own an interest in an estate as a tenant in common. i would like to find out how i can sell a portion to another party in this estate. i also need to know if i would contact a lawyer in the state i reside or should in be in the state the property exists?

best to contact an attorney where the property is located.

You would be best served to contact an attorney in the state where the property is located or require the purchaser to do so as part of the sale.
