What does the term intervevos mean?

I'm not sure how the term is spelled, but what does intervevos mean?

Inter vivos is Latin for "between the living." Transactions made inter vivos are those made while the parties are living, and not upon death (such as inheritance) or upon contemplation of death(the latin for which is causa mortis). I trust that answers your question ... carpe diem.
