how much time ater date of death would you need values on assets. In particular, rental property values. This is in Florida.

If the rental property is an asset of an estate in probate, a value of the rental property

will be required for the administration. A documented fair market value is not required

until the asset is sold, distributed, or transferred as part of the administration, and

approved by the probate court.
