have not recevied a letter yet after nine months of an hertance worth a lot of money , just promises from the laywer

While there is no set time frame to complete the probate of the estate you should be kept advised as to its status. You can check this out with the court involved. Good luck.

Florida law normally requires court approval to have the probate estate open over one year. If it goes beyond that and you have not heard anything, contact the cout.
