Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
Trust legal and binding?
We are semi retired and had made up a will and Trust in 2003. As well as a Will. We are trying to find out if it is a binding and legal document. We followed all the software instructions indicated and had it notorized. We had it done in Illinois, but have sinced moved to Florida. Should we redo the addresses since they have changed, or is the document okay as it is? And binding? Thanks so much in advance,

There is no way to answer your question. You must have the document reviewed by an attorney that creates trusts estates and wills to determine if the language is proper and legal.
Re: Trust legal and binding?
Moving from Illinois should not affect its validity, nor do addresses cause a problem, as long as the persons so identified can be located. However, no reputable attorney could venture a guess as to whether the trust is valid without examining it. Further, he/she would need to discuss whether it is fully funded and whether it does what you think it does. Contact an attorney and pay a consultation fee so you can have some peace of mind.
