Trust question

My father passed away and left a trust to be dispersed after 5 years to 4 beneficiaries. The date is approaching and I recently learned that 1 of the beneficiaries is a trustee and he has had no contact with the family and no one knows where he has disappeared to. Is the trustee able to withdraw funds from the trust? Are the other beneficiaries entitled to know how the trust is set up before the 5 year point?
