Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Uncle after everything

My grandmother passed away last year and right before she passed away she had a power of attorney drawn up and also another will. This all happened before she went into the hospital. She wanted this done just in case something happened. The day she entered the hospital I went to the the lawyer and got the will and the power of attorney, but by the time i got back to hospital she was in a coma and couldnt sign anything. While in the hospital why uncle stated that he wouldnt contest the unsigned will...But now after my grandmother is gone he is after everything...My grandmother put my mother on the house in case anything happened to her. so the house was left in my mothers name... What can we do, to protect my uncle from getting what he said he didnt want in the first place..?

Re: Uncle after everything

Sorry but an unsigned will or power of attorney is not valid. How was your mother given the house? Was a deed filed?
