Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Unclear Probate transactions

My Grandmother passed away in Oct '03- My mom is personal rep, she is inherating family home and 60% of add'l assetts. My sister's family has moved into the home to care for mom who has cancer.Sis and I split the remaining 40% of assetts. Original lawyer supposedly stole $6,000 and did not pay many bills. Mom finally paid off funeral so Grandmom could be buried. Local lawyers say they wont take case unless we agree not to procecute former lawyer so Sis got an out of county lawyer. Now mom wants me to sign over Grandmoms car which is in estate. I am hesatant to sign anything because I feel I am being mislead about whole story. Due to moms health I have not been welcome to visit the family home with or without my children. Where do I go from here?
