re unpaid medical bills wife passed

my wife passed away had medical insurance but still receiving bills not covered by ins my question is we her estate in probate who is responsible for med bills?

You are not liable just becauise you are the husband. If there was insurance, that should cover most or all. The estate would be liable ONLY if the hospital or doctors filed an appropriate claim in the estate. I would not pay from the estate unless a valid claim has been filed.
