Is a widow responsible for a deceased spouse's medical bill if they are residents of Florida, but the bills were incurred in Ohio?

Not in Florida would they. However, Ohio law could be different.
Also, it depends if you signed anything obligating yourself to his bills while at the hospital. Hospitals are pretty good in slipping this in when you least expect it. Then they would directly be your bills to, like a guarantor.
If there is a probate proceeding, the creditor for the medical bills must be notified so they can file a claim against the estate.
