No will

My father died without a will. Hise fiancee lives in his house. She has been paying the property tax on the house for 7 years now. There is no will. Shouldnt his kids get he house?

If there was no will, your dad was not married, and he owned a house in his name alone at the time of his death, then the house should have gone to the children upon his death. You need to seek legal advice. By not coming forward and by letting this person pay the taxes, your rights to this property may have been compromised. Why on earth would you allow someone to pay the property taxes on your father's property for seven years without coming forward ? That said, I wish you good luck.

Her paying the taxes MAY be a problem. Ordinarily, his kids would get the property. Consult with a local attorney.
