HI! Does a will become invalid if it was witnesses and signed by two people in the state that requires that a will must be witnessed by three?

If it was executed in a State, such as Maine, that requires 3 witnesses, and you only have 2 witnesses, then it doesn't become invalid. It was always invalid from the beginning.
