Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

is new will legal?

mom was diagnosed with cancer. 3 wks after son took her to sign new will, etc. all her family, friends & Drs know she was not competent long before the cancer. the attorney's office said had they known she was not competent, they never would have done the will. Is the new will legal? Can her will, etc. from 1990s still be used? How can a 90 yr old woman w/dementia not be present for will drawn up & only in the room to sign it? She still doesn't know what she signed or have copies. Where could will be?

If not legally competent, the will is invalid.
