Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

will / real estate

My mother passed away, leaving in her will, that her home and it's belongings be split equally between all four siblings. The oldest brother was listed as her personal rep / executor. Upon reading of her will, we also found out that at the same time her will was done, he also had her do a quit claim deed, adding his name to her property. At her death, it became his property. Her will states that it be divided equally. Are we, the other three siblings, protected and guaranteed to get our equal portion when the home sells? If not, what steps should we take to protect our interest?
