the last will and testament of my father is being withheld from the famity by his 2nd wife. what can be done

Your remedy is a court proceeding to produce. If she has filed it for probate, you can see it at the court house.

The will is required to be filed. If it has not, you can file a petition to require that.

She must file the will. You can compel her to do so. If she has filed it but will not give you a copy, go to the courthouse to get a copy of it. Regards,
