Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Will's validity

My wifes aunt passed away. There were 2 wills found, one from 1986 and one from 1994. Does failure to destroy the older will invalidate the more current one? Also does her aunts failure to provide her executor with a copy of the new will invalidate it?

Re: Will's validity

No, and No.

Depending on the language, the more recent one probably invalidates the older one. And there's no requirement that an executor get a copy of a will.

If you've got specific questions, then I'd suggest you contact an attorney in Florida who handles probate.
