Re: Wills

In Florida you will need two witnesses and you will also need the services of a notary if you intend to create a self-proving will. While a will can be a rather simple document I would recomend that you ask a Florida attorney to assist you. Often there are important issues an experienced attorney will see that may not be addressed if you are preparing a will yourself. Fees for a simple will are small compared with the peace of mind you will have knowing your will complies with all the applicable laws. After a person's death is a very bad time for the surviving family members to discover a will is not valid.

Re: Wills

You will need two witnesses and a notary to provide for the will being self proving. Although you do not have to have an attorney prepare your Will, it may be best since the purpose of the Will is to avoid a problem with your assets after you pass away. If the Will is not properly prepared then this will only cause problems for your loved ones later. Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions. (954) 966-4140
