Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
The ''other woman'' was named executor of Dad's will...
My dad passed away on August 2nd. His girlfriend was named executrix to the will, as well as beneficiary to his life insurance. In the will that she had given my sister and I, a page stating that my sister and I were to receive 1/3 of the life insurance each was included. We just received a Notice of Administration from her attorney. A copy of the will was enclosed, but it did not contain that page. The page has signatures of my father, a witness, and a notary. The girlfriend has already received the full amount of the life insurance and gave my sister and I 1/4 of our full amount. My main question is this: since she is named executrix and beneficiary, what rights do my sister and I have in order to receive what my father had planned for us? I faxed that missing page to the attorney's office, but have not been able to get in touch with him, he always seems to be ''with a client'' when I call. Does this woman have the right to everything my father intended for my sister and I? You must understand how frustrating this is. Please help, and I apologize for the length of my question. Please email with any questions you may have. Thank you.

If she deleted a page she committed a fraud. You can go to the court to view the original and see if a page is missing. If you would like an attorney to investigate you may certainly call or email me. Good luck.
