Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Writing a petition to the court.

I am the legal guardian of my minor childs property. In order to obtain access to this property, I have to petition the county court and show just cause for accessing this property. How would I go about petitioning the court to allow me to access this money in order to provide my child the service they need and to put her in a safe environment.

Thank you.

Please review your original guardianship papers to confirm you are filing any reports that may have been required by the court. For example, I assume you are required to file an annual accounting and an annual guardinship plan.

Either you or your attorney must submit a petition to the court appointing you guardian explaining why a withdrawl is necessary from the wards property and not his parents. Generally the court is loath to do it. The benefit must be solely for the ward.
