Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida
32 hours a week
I injured my elbow(non dominant) at work. I am a nurse manager.
I am able to perform all of my job duties(desk Job)
but because the MD wrote that I have limited use of that arm- I was told I could not work more that 32 hours a week until released from MD with no limitations.
Is this the law?

Re: 32 hours a week
There is no law on this subject. Your hours are determined by your employer and your employer's policy. They probably picked 32 hours because if you work less than 32 hours after being injured on a 40 hour job, they would have to pay some compensation. Nothing is due in comp for 32 hours. I suspect your employer is sending you a message.
