attorney not releasing my funds
how can I get my funds from my attorney? I have a Court order for a lump sum settlement and my attorney totally broke down communicating with me and the insurance check cleared his bank on may 17

I am a little confused. If the communication has broken down, how do you know that the insurance check cleared his bank on May 17?
Initially, the best way would be to call your attorney's office and just schedule a time for disbursement. You don't even have to talk to the attorney to merely schedule such a meeting. If you cannot get the disbursement scheduled then you might have more serious problems to address.
