Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

Do i have a claim?

I got a small piece of metal lodged in my eye i went to the e.R. The next night becase it started aching, the worker-comp nurse called and said i had 2 wait to get the rest of it taken out by an optometrist that is covered under work-comp.Its now been 7 days and the metal is still in my eye!

You may have a claim if the piece of metal in your eye was a result of a work related accident or exposure. Please consult a qualified workers' compensation attorney to obtain additional advice regarding your rights if this did occur in the course and scope of your employment
