Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida
The company I work for, a large American company, offered me an overseas assignment which included a one time $7500 moving / payment in lieu of household goods shipment allowance, as well as a recurring monthly 15% COLA allowance and a 5% location pay allowance. I accepted, and they paid for my ticket to the overseas location where I now live. I have been doing the job to their satisfaction. Now, 6 months later, they have not paid any of the allowances and continually stall stating that the Letter of Understanding (LOU) we agreed upon but they never produced, has been held up for details. Can I make them pay me the back wages now since they will not produce the LOU?
