Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida
The company im working for have closed some of there doors on the other coast i currently have a wokers comp claim going on now at the location where im at and have been taken out of work until the doc release me back but they are reevaluating my position in all the stores still open can they take me out of my position and can i look for another job while this claim is opened?

They can eliminate your position unless you are on FMLA time off which is a federal statute. They have to have 15 more employees to be covered by that. If you have been sent back to work and are getting paid TPD because you cannot do regular job and they dont have light duty it is best that you on look for other work if you are still their employee. You should really discuss your specific case with an attorney.
