If you were injured you will get Temporary Partial Disability benefits. You asked this question, if that is what it is, in the w/c law section.

After a work injury, your doctor may release you to return to work with restrictions ("light duty"). These restrictions could prevent you from performing your normal job duties. Some employers create a temporary job within those restrictions in case you are able to return to full duty in s short time. Often these are not permanent jobs, just "make work" jobs to see how your recovery is progressing. At some point the employer feels that they can no longer accommodate you in the make work job (for good or improper reasons) and declares that there is no "light duty" available. Thereafter, you may be eligible to receive Temporary Partial Disability benefits. It is very important that you have the employer document that they have no work available within your restrictions. At this point you should see a WC attorney to advise you how best to protect your right to benefits.
