fire my attorny

my attorney is not letting me know where we stand.half the time does not return my calls ,tells me i have to go to the doctors office pick up paper work to bring to them. if i fire him will i have to pay him anything.

Yes, the attorney will have a lien on the case for his work, unless he was fired for cause.

I suggest you make an appointment to see your attorney to work things out and if you can't, then consult another attorney. Most of the time there is a communication problem that can be worked out.
