in florida can you be laid off soon as your relased by doctor to return to work

If you were not on FMLA leave, then you can be terminated. If you are terminated because of the valid pursuit of a worker's compensation case you may have a wrongful termination case. If you are terminated, and your employer has 15 or more employees, and you have physical limitations you may have an ADA claim. Seek some legal help with the speciifcs of your claim.
