Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

I was injured on the job and haven't worked since Dec. 17,2010. I received one check only on Sat., Jan. 8 ,2011 for $80.00.from w/c. That was it. There was no explanation on the check. Do w/c checks go out in the mail every other week? Thank you

It depends on the carrier (insurance company). You should ask the adjuster for clarification and find out what the check was for, how they computed it and when you can expect your future checks.
