Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

are there laws against making people wear pants in a kitchen where temperatures can exceed 95 degrees? i tried to look up information about this with no luck. my concern is with Florida's weather (temps in 90s-100 degrees), and pizza ovens (450+ degrees), it can be a bad combination for heat fatigue. My manager at my job says that anyone in "his kitchen" must wear pants, regardless of temps

No, there is no law that would allow you to wear shorts. Just the opposite. Health regulations require the covering of the body in kitchens.
