Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

I have an open workers comp claim from the state of Florida. I moved to Wisconsin at the end of July. I called in June to let the workers comp company know I would be moving out of the state of Fl and they said I should still keep an appt that they had set up with a Dr in Florida....even though they knew I would be moving 4 days after I saw the Florida Dr. This doctor ordered an MRI and 8 physical therapy appts on July 24th. As of today workers comp has still not scheduled the MRI or physical therapy that was ordered and my workers comp rep will not return my calls. Instead, the person that answers the phone at the workers comp company says that my rep. is busy and that she will call me back, but would like to know if I am willing to settle. I have told them no, I want to find out what is wrong because this not only affects my daily life but also my work life. Then I am told that she is having a hard time finding a doctor for me in Wi. I have a hard time believing that she hasnt been able to find me a doctor, 2 months should be more than enough time to get these appts. scheduled. Where do I go from here? How much time is allowed for them to find a doctor for me?

(I have called them around 8 times with no response back) This is ridiculous!

You need to hire an attorney specializing in workers comp in Florida to file a claim with the court for your medical care. Carriers can stall and deny hoping you give up or you wait too long and the statute of limitations runs. You have one year to obtain care from an AUTHORIZED workers' comp doctor. Don't wait!
