if your pregnacy is dibilating and causing you to miss work; thus; putting your job at risk, can you apply for workman's compensation

No. Workers' Compensation is for injuries sustained on the job.
However, you may be entitled to FMLA for job protection if your employer and you meet certain criteria. If you have a disability insurance policy you may qualify for benefits under that policy.
You cite Florida and OH as a location so I am not sure which state you are living in. I am answering based on Florida law, but I would be surprised if the answer is different in OH.
