can i receive money?

i recently fractured my wrist and the doctor said i cant go back to work for 8 weeks. For my job i need both my hands. do i qualify for money while i am unable to work?

If your employer does not provide you with a job you can do after an injury that pays at least 80% of what you averaged earning before the accident, you are entitled to compensation benefits. If you are out for the full 8 weeks you would received compensation for all 8 weeks.
