Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

My son received a workers comp settlement after the murder of his wife on work premises. He also has a lawsuit against a third party related to the murder. Can the workers compensation settlement be taken back if he wins the lawsuit?

The workers' compensation insurance company has a claim against the proceeds of the third party claim. They do not get 100% of it back. Consult your son's the personal injury lawyer.
