Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

Statute of Limitation for Worker's Com Injury?

In the state of Florida would you please tell me what the statute of limitation is for a worker's comp injury is? I have not hired an attorney yet for my case. I fell at work back in March 2008 and am suffering severe back pain. They also fired me from my job because I was in so much pain and unable to work as they wanted for me. Do you get paid whether we win or lose if I hired you?

You should see an attorney right away. There is a 30 day notice provision, which means you have to give the employer notice of the injury within 30 days. Otherwise, assuming you have given notice, statute of limitations is 2 years.

If you are in Broward, call me. www.ConsumerLawyerHelp.com.
