Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

Type your question here...I have been released to return to work by my doctor, but my employer is afraid to allow me to work again. He is afraid I will make my condition worse. I broke my wrist and after being cast for 5 weeks, the doctor decided I need the hardware surgery. I have just had a second surgery to remove the hardware (now 7 months later) I am still experiencing pain and the doctor is watching me and will determine in a few weeks if I need further surgery (carpal tunnel release)....Can my employer keep out of work? Will I get paid?

It sounds like you are still in the category of temporary partial disability (TPD). Even though you are released to work with restrictions, unless your employer allows you to work, you will still be entitled to TPD benefits. If you are not receiving TPD biweekly, see a workers' compensaiton lawyer to assist.
