Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

I won a settlement almost 7 years ago, for an accident on the job as Security Officer.

I was hit by a car in a hit and run.

Now years later I'm suffering from neck & lower back pain. X rays show some type of deterioration. And I strongly believe that this is due to that accident. Being that I haven't fallen or been in any type of accident throughout these years.

My question is: Is there anything in a legal sense that I can do, to help me with the pain I am suffering from now on a daily basis?

If you settled, your case is over. Your deterioration since that time is not grounds to undo the settlement. If the settlement was with worker's compensation, pain and suffering are not part of the elements you get paid for in that arena. You only get lost wages and medical expenses.
