Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida
I have a work comp case. I have been treating for 10 months. Still in pain. I have back pain, and my doctor seemed to narrow the pain down to thoracic and pelvis, these two areas have never had MRI on them. My final assessment was scheduled. I went to the doctor and asked about receiving an MRI in those places which is where I've been treated all along. Surprisingly, he agreed. I called the adjuster to tell her that he ordered the 2 mris and that I would be rescheduling my final assessment. That very next day they called my employer and asked him to " describe what I look like". He said thats all they asked. I'm confused. I only work on an as needed basis there now. I have a full time desk job where I'm at now. Why are they asking this information?

The insurance company wants to follow you video tape you probably.
My guess from the information provided is that the insurance carrier may be trying to determine your demeanor in assessing whether they want to authorize the tests recommended. It is always difficult to know why anyone does what they do.
You may want to speak to an injury attorney to discuss your claim and the benefits you are entitled to.
