Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

Worker Compensation Laws when employed with The Union

My hand was injured at work on a Friday, my boss did not have paper work ready until Monday where I then went to to Emergency room. Now they want me to come back to work and discus it after I return(I work out of town). The company is based out of Indiana and is a Fire Sprinkler outfitter Company. Any suggestions, Should I go back to work or is that dismissing my injury?

Regardless of whether you return to work or not, the claim should be filed with the State. Just because you can work doesn't mean you weren't injured. They will still be responsible to provide you medical care even if you are not losing wages.
