Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

workers comp please help!!

my husband was a climber at a tree company in florida he was injured when the chainsaw kicked back and tore thru his right arm severing the ulner nerve he has had 2 surgeries and has now been sent back to work with restrictions he has therapy 3x a week and on those 3 days he is always in to much pain to return to work and he doesnt get paid for those days the company was paying him full wages we never have recieved a wc check and the boss is now saying if you dont come to work we dont have to pay you is this legal?and why havent we ever got a wc check i looked online and we have a claim the boss said he was just paying his full wages cuz he was looking out for us this injury has been over a yr ago and we have never been told any kind of percent by his doctor but the therapist says he may never get mmi he barely has use of his main arm and they are only paying him when he shows up im really upset we had an attorney but had to let him go due to the fact everyone was mad at us and my husband was thretend by a superviser ever since the boss heard we had a lawyer he is no longer being nice and now that we dont have a lawyer they are not even paying him and the i/c adjuster told me dont expect a check when you dont show up we need help
