If a worker is injured but quits 4 weeks after injury, in which he was paid during those weeks off) is he allowed to get compensation for all the weeks after that he did not work?

Quitting a job that was within whatever restrictions set by the authorized treating physician give rise to a defense of "voluntary limitation of income". This defense, in most cases, can preclude the employee from receiving compensation after they quit.
