If I was making $10.00 an hour and got hurt and the Dr. gave me a 50% disable rate from getting hurt how much would they have to pay me.I got 5% for my finger and that was a 2,000$ check

You need to consult an attorney. A 50% disability means you may be entitled to Permanent Total Disability, which is disabilty for life. Your weekly payment is based on your average weekly wages and not on the hourly rate.
Most of the time fees are paid by the carrier. I do this work.
