Workers Comp Time
I was injured on the job on Dec 28th of 2006 and I went back to work but it still hurt, and i have since retired because of illness which is not related, now i have to have surgery to repair my shoulder Am I eligible to get Worker Comp compensation, for this injury?

If the workers' compensation injury was to your shoulder, then it should remain covered. If it is your authorized treating physician performing this surgery, you should receive the lost wages while on a "no-work" status. If you have a permanent injury, you would also become eligible for impairment benefits.

Yes. The fact the you have retired should not hinder your right to receive medical treatment to your work related injury. In addition, you would be entitled to receive transportation, medication, physical therapy and any other treatment recommended by the treating workers' comp doctor. You may also be entitled to receive workers' payments while you are on a no work status by the doctor.

If the surgery is for your injury, yes, workers' comp is still available and it should pay for the medical and any time that you are unable to work.
