Can my employer tell me that I have to go on my personal time to Therapy and/or see the doctor from workers compensation?

In a word, yes. But, if the amount of time you lose from work in any week is more than 20% of your average weekly wage, you are entitled to some compensation for the missed time over the 20%. Otherwise, you just have to take the loss. Fair? No. The law, yes.
