Can an Irish woman living in France divorce her husband living in Ireland, obtain a divorce without the knowlegde of her husband?

The husband in Ireland would have to be served with notice, but if it was served at the wrong address or if his address was unknown, then a divorce by default is theoretically possible but highly unlikely. The French are pretty good about avoiding that type of situation. Ron Sokol
