Wine Bottle Labels
I would like to use several wine bottle labels from California and Europe as examples of appellations for a new book. Do I need written permission from the individual wineries to do so?

Probably, otherwise it could constitute copyright infringement and trademark infringement.

I would need more facts to analyze whether you might have a "fair use" defense.
