Legal Question in International Law in France

Hello.

I am American & French citizen, borned in France raised in MA. Currently I am İn France and did not show up at superior court and there is a default warrant issued by the state of MA for my Arrest. İ`ve never been in trouble before..

Charges are,

1-Larceny over $250 By single Scheme

2-Receive Stolen property

3-Conspiracy

My question is: Is it a possibility that the European authorities might arrest me at the passport check at the airport when I arrive because of my State arrest warrant? Do they have the authority to do so?

if this type of crime will go to İnterpol? Can I cross borders in europe with us passport?

Thank you,

MA could put out an international arrest warrant for you as it sounds like they are felony offenses. Whether it has done so or not is another question. If it has done so, then, yes, you could very well get stopped at a border crossing using either your US or your French passport. If you stay in France you are not likely to be extradited as France does not extradite its own citizens should MA decide to seek extradition which seems unlikely unless the facts are such that they overcome the prosecutor's reluctance to commit resources to an extradition procedure.
