Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia
immigration
good evening,
i am french and i met someone a while ago but my partner is american and i am french, we are both gay and we are in a serious relationship, of course as i speak english it would thus be easier for me to move to the usa however i do not know if, according to the law i may have a chance to get a visa or something. it is too late to apply for the green card lottery for next year and even with that there are little chances that i might get one. is there any chance that we could live together in the same country rather tham being separated all the time, he lives in georgia near atlanta. is there any chance for us both?
sorry to keep the question long but this situation is a tad complicated, thank you for your answer.

Re: immigration
Your partner cannot petition for you. However, depending on your level of education and/ or work experience, you might be eligible for a work visa or another kind of visa. Good luck.
