Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
i have a neighbor which has a brother that lives with her. when she and my wife and i had become friends she told us that she knew of a few times that her brother attempted or actually molested some little boys no older than 5 years old, but he had never been convicted. She told us this because we have a 2 year old son. To just warn us. But he is also on drugs. She says that it is crack cocaine. He has social security benefits that he receives and once he gets it, he goes downtown and will blow it on drugs in one weekend and will live with someone while he is on his high. When he sobers up he will come back and wait until the next month. The only thing that he has to his name is a suitcase with a few clothes that his sister bought for him. She keeps letting him back in, i figure because she is clinically depressed and just wants someone around. He has been in and out of drug rehabs. I don't like the man and wish that he would leave. My wife doesn't like to be outside with my child when I'm not there because he will try to converse with them and he just stands there at the dividing property fence and watch them trying to act like he is working near the fence. I try not to say anything to him because I don't want him to know that his sister told me these things about him and he retaliate against her or us when he is on a high. My question is do i have any legal rights that would keep him from living there? I don't really want to get her in trouble but she is allowing the drug crime to continue.

If he is a convicted sex offender you might have some rights if he is in violation of his parole. Otherwise the information you have is all heresay and we don't want to allow hearsay to be used against any of us.
